Richard Chino

Richard Chino is a private investor, focusing on the Internet marketing space. He has over 13 years of search engine marketing experience.

Richard was employee 35 with GoTo.com/Overture (the pioneers of search engine marketing) and continued on with Yahoo after they acquired the company in 2003. During those seven years in sponsored search, as VP of Business Operations, Richard worked directly with the Overture CFO and COO to identify opportunities to grow the business while balancing the needs of users, advertisers, and publishers, ultimately producing recommendation that resulted in more than $1 Billion in annual revenues. In August 2005, Richard joined MeziMedia (Smarter.com) as their Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing traffic acquisition. In 2006, the site was named by ComScore as the second largest buyer of Search Ad Impressions in the US. In July 2007, MeziMedia was acquired by ValueClick, and Richard continued in his role until Dec. 2009. Currently Richard is a member of the Pasadena Angels, a Board Member of Pollenware, and an Advisor to a handful of companies.

Richard holds both an MBA and a Masters of Engineering Management from Northwestern University, and a BA in Economics / Accounting and Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College.

Kieron O'Brien

Kieron O'Brien is the chief executive officer of ExpertMarkets, an operating unit of Exigen Capital. In this capacity, Kieron plays a vital role in company's strategy, direction and development.

Over the past 12 years, Kieron has been active as a C-level executive, advisor or board member of multiple early and middle stage technology companies covering the Internet, VoIP, Software Products, and Corporate Services industries. Most recently, he was the Founder and CEO of PacketExchange, Ltd, which he grew into a leading Global Internet Infrastructure and Content Delivery Network provider winning numerous awards including Deloitte Technology Fast50, Red Herring's Europe 100 and recognized by the Sunday Times (London) Tech Track 100 as the 14th fastest growing technology company in the United Kingdom. Kieron was responsible for raising multiple rounds of capital in addition to leading PacketExchange's expansion into Europe, Asia and the United States through a strategy of growing organically and through acquisition. Prior to starting PacketExchange, Ltd, Kieron was Chief Technology Officer for Level 3 Communications in Europe where he directed a multi-billion dollar capital expenditure and operating budget. Before this he followed a successful R&D career in digital and optical networking equipment with a successful business development role at Alcatel where he brought in more than $500 million of contracts. Kieron received an education in Electronics and Software Engineering in the British Army.

Richard Qiu

Richard is Executive VP of Business Development at 4INFO. He is responsible for partnerships, strategic alliances, and shaping the direction of mobile publishing and advertising. An expert in the wireless business sector, Richard has held a number of senior management positions with emerging wireless companies. Prior to 4INFO, Richard was vice president of worldwide carrier business development at SMS.ac, a mobile data and billing company that runs the world's largest mobile community. While there, he was responsible for developing commercial relationships with major wireless operators worldwide. Richard was also AVP of business and client development for BeVocal, a market leader of voice platform and speech solutions for carriers and large enterprises, where he was responsible for key customer and strategic partnerships with telecommunications carriers, cable operators and media businesses. Richard has also spearheaded business development and sales at Yodlee, an Internet e-finance software company. Prior to Yodlee, Richard was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he advised the senior management of Fortune 500 companies. He holds a MBA from the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business, and a PhD from the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering.

Stephen Clinton

Stephen Clinton is senior counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP, where he represents a broad range of companies from privately held startup companies to publicly traded corporations. He is a member of the firm's Private Equity & Venture Capital and Transactional & Securities Practices.

Mr. Clinton has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate transactions and assists clients with the negotiation and consummation of mergers, stock sales, asset acquisitions and other reorganizations. He regularly assists with cross-border transactions.

He advises public clients in the preparation of reporting documents and registration statements filed with the SEC under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 as well as other SEC Compliance matters.

Mr. Clinton represents clients in equity financings, convertible debt offerings, and venture capital transactions. His practice also consists of representing emerging growth companies in all aspects of business and corporate transactions, including entity formation, entity governance and business planning issues.

Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Clinton was a member of the firm Nixon Peabody LLP.

He earned his law degree (J.D.) from Santa Clara University School of Law. Mr. Clinton received his master's degree (M.B.A.) from San Jose State University, and his bachelor's degree (B.A.) from Santa Clara University.

Mr. Clinton is admitted to practice in California. He is a member of the California State Bar; the Santa Clara County Bar Association; the American Bar Association; the Association for Corporate Growth, Silicon Valley; and the Churchill Club.

Brian Jacobs

Brian Jacobs is a Founder and General Partner of Emergence. He has over 20 years of venture capital experience, a deep national network and broad experience helping both consumer and business startups become market leaders. Prior to founding Emergence, Brian was an early General Partner at St. Paul Venture Capital. During his 10 years with St. Paul, Brian helped to grow the firm to one of the 15 largest venture investors in the country, while he led the firm's Silicon Valley investing activities. His prior venture capital experience was at Security Pacific Venture Capital. Brian also worked for the Raychem Corporation, where he developed and marketed advanced software and electronic components. He also has engineering and new product development experience with RCA, Westinghouse, and Polaroid, and he holds several patents.

Brian was named to the Forbes' Midas List of the top venture capital investors in 2006 and 2007. He is an experienced board member who has served on dozens of public and private boards. He currently serves on the boards of Intacct, YouSendIt, InsideView, Bill.com and DVDPlay.

Brian's reputation for helping entrepreneurs build market-leading technology-enabled service companies comes from his active involvement in HireRight, WebTV (sold to Microsoft), nQuire Software (sold to Siebel Systems), BigFix, NetPerceptions (NETP), NextCard (NXCD) and others. Brian has backed leading companies in other sectors, including Lexar Media (LEXR), Microchip Technologies (MCHP), and many others.

Brian has a MS and BS in mechanical engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from Stanford. He is happily married with two children. He enjoys international travel, cycling and cross-country skiing.
